Two Sides of the Cabin are Done!
We had a busy weekend. Darren and I installed siding on two sides of the cabin on Friday and Saturday. Everything went pretty well and we are happy with the look. It’s kind of hard to see in the pictures but we used a pattern of two small and one large “reveal” all the way up. We also trimmed the windows a little differently. (longer on the top).
Next step is to do the front and back. We’ll be putting up cedar shake on the peaks and also will be installing eave supports to add a bit more style. Once the siding is done we’ll have gutters installed and will get back to the wiring and plumbing. We are targeting to complete both the wiring and plumbing by March.
